After 100+ enjoyable hours, I beat SaGa frontier. At the bonus chapter, the Ring Lord said I beat seven of the quests, but there was one left, called Rogue.
I got the option to fight any boss I wawnted. So I beat Blue’s boss. Then suddenly the screen turned gray (my dudes werent dead). Then it said “THE END”. Am I reallly finished with the whole game? something seems to be missing
How can I do rogue’s quest? Then maybe I can get the REAL REAL ending
In order to be Rouge you must lose to him in Blue’s quest. As simple as that. However Blue/Rouge have the same exact ending. It is supposed to end that way. It’s sort of a dark ending.
The thing is you’re being used by the magic kingdom to buy time for them to seal hell. Once hell is sealed it is frozen in time. And to them you are just a sacrifice. The HP of the final boss is just to trigger this event. You never see much of this as the story focuses heavily on Blue.
Also, did you get to Second Division? (I mean that bonus chapter you get when you beat all 7 quests.)
If you did, do you know a way to get the real ending to ALL of SaGa Frontier? What happens if you fight the hacked version of Ring Lord? (I mean the one you talk to the red haired guy, then he has Ring Lord who is joined with Klaken and different monsters, not Riki’s ring lord).
There is no “Real Ending” to the entire game. Each quest is considered its own story. While they share the same universe things happen differently. Sort of like Tenchi and its alternate universes maybe.
The other Ring Lord is just another boss to face for bragging rights. In fact of second division is bosses and comments over all. Although it can be fun to do some of the battles.
Thanks. Could you beat the Hacked Ring Lord? I couldnt. I ran out of potions
Hmmm. It was an intersting storylines mostly. It must have taken a lot of work to connect all those SaGa and Romancing SaGa games together.
What I mainly couldnt undestand what “Cube” and “Trinity” was; they made references to them in most the quests if you talk to NPCs.
It was also kinda strange how most the characters “happen” to meet each other at the bar in alll the quests, right at the same time. And yet a couple (Loot, Riki, T3) went in different directions, but depending on which char you picked. It is clever they could make a story and not have to take chronology into account

(I took all this info from the GAMEFAQ message boards)
(SPOILERS DA-DUM)
The book “The Essense of SaGa” (Or something like that) says that Blue lost his battle against Rouge, and that Rouge managed to escape Hell afterwards it was frozen (Thanks to Space magic)

Well for one thing reliance on potions is terrible in the final area. Now then when I beat him, I never really ran out of potions. Uh mainly because I was heaing with magic and monster skills like magic heal.

All SaGa games are separate stories. They have no connection beyond reused names and cameos maybe. Same idea as the Final Fantasy series.

Cube is the Energy Source for RB3 according to Essence. And Trinity is the name of a corrupt group involving three regions. I forget what was said on this though.

Which is a good thing too. It would be rather boring if we constantly had to take every other quest into account just to play one quest.
Although it would be nice if getting Rouge in your party gave you a side quest to challenge “Blue” or “Rouge” would try to kill Time Lord or Kylin if you met the respective person and you’d have the option to go against “Rouge” or kill TimeLord or Kylin.
