Maybe. But were that the case, why would he not wait until AFTER Ego had been “crystalized”? Why save him beforehand?
Also, is it just me or does Cid have a new sprite in this comic? Looks like an RM2k-type sprite…
That’s the sprite I’ve use for Cid for awhile now. It’s a recolored Klarth sprite from ToP.
Whoops, never mind, I was getting that guy mixed up with the other guy.
For a VERY long time now, I’ve had what I think is a pretty sound theory as to that guy’s identity.
But just in case I’m RIGHT, I’m holding my tounge. :hahaha;
And I’ve got a pretty good idea who you mean - although I’m sure by this point everyone who has been reading OL for some time at least half-believes it probably is ‘him’. After all, the clue everyone picked up on immediately (if I recall the threads at the time) was the fact the shadow sprite Spoony initially used for the henchman was the silhouette of a sprite Spoony used once before…
Still, I cannot rule out that detail being a red herring - at least, not yet.
