I don’t know if it’s still true, but the RPGCommunity was never the bandwidth driver. I know a couple of years ago we still got tons of hits for the Shrines and whatnot.
I transformed into a muffin and got into Touhou and I have not given a shit about my divided internet-identity ever since my debit card got stolen, and I am now seeking psychiatric help for some sort of depression, or at least mood-oscillations.
I’m currently hiding in my apartment from Hurricane Sandy, which doesn’t seem like it’ll be a very big problem for southern New Hampshire, I just wanted you all to know that in case this is my last post on RPGC because my third-story apartment got flooded and the building ate me.
EDIT: So, the hurricane is literally not showing up on any trackers anymore and it’s bright and sunny now, so … :V
Yeah, they closed all the schools in WNY today for nothing. We had some wind and rain, but nothing screaming “OMG Frankenstorm is here! Run for your lives!” I really feel sorry for those in New Jersey though. A co-worker’s mother’s hometown, some island off of Atlantic City is completely underwater.
We don’t get hurricanes here. Or earthquakes. Or floods, or really, any major disasters. The last tornado to hit this city was 25 years ago, and the worst we’ve had since then was the odd winter storm or very big thunderstorm. And well, the annual drop to -40.
Meanwhile the last two years for me have seen floods and droughts respectfully. At least it’s nowhere near as devastating as what the eastern seaboard’s been dealing with; yet. Although give it another year and we may yet be screwed.
my best regards to those of you without electricity if it’s on then fuck you
