*Great* Movies

No, maybe because you just ripped on shit without giving any reasons. And I didn’t say all or mine.

Jerk.

Movies:
Naked Lunch
Snatch
Clerks
Dogma
This Is Spinal Tap
Beetlejuice
Requiem For A Dream
Pink Floyd Live at Pompeii (Yeah it’s a movie. uh or it should be)
Rocky Horror Picture Show

Uhh more stuff to be added when I remember.

And here i thought some of you werent uptight at all. He wasn’t dissing anything, at all just saying he didn’t like some movies. Get over it we all have different tastes, not everyone has to like what you like.
Big Trouble in Little China ^ _ ^
Aladdin(disney verison)
Mulan
Slapshot
Romancing the Stone
Saving Private Ryan
Spiderman
Dogma
Men at Work
Fish called Wanda
Fierce Creatures
Pirates of the Caribbean
UHF
Caveman
Jurassic Park
Hackers
I’ll come up with more later…

I’ll add another - Toy Story. This movie touched me the first time I saw it, and it still does today. I feel it’s a wonderful testament to childhood from a different perspective. When I was little, I attributed “real” feelings to my toys, so of course this one was going to speak to me. =)

The absolute greatest part of Hackers is when they start going crazy over Angelina Jolie having an ultra fast 28.8k modem. :stuck_out_tongue:

I liked that one with the sled… umm… I cant remember its name…

Cyber: I have seen plenty of horror movies, and enjoyed many. But you just can’t compare the writing in most of them to most other genres’. But, I’m open to discussion on the subject. And Slasher films ARE Horror! (perhaps it would be fairer to call them “non-supernatural horror”.)

Epic: Never mind, then.

I didn’t say slasher films are not horror, I said that I’m not counting them. :stuck_out_tongue:

And the genre for worst writing is probably the romantic comedy.

(Note to self: copy this list)

Blues Brothers (the original)
The Princess Bride
Field of Dreams (Try the book too: Shoeless Joe)
Big Fish

And Cybercompost’s comment reminded me of one of the few decent romantic comedies:
Kate and Leopold

Naked Lunch: I can find 2 things wrong with that title(bonus to whoever gets teh reference).

SCARFACE!
SCARFACE!
SCARFACE!

3.Brotherhood of the Wolf

I enjoyed The Last Samurai as well although I’ve never seen the original. I never Tom Cruise would be a good samurai but he did a great job.

Oy, I’ve actually seen a lot of all these movies. I scare myself.
Oh, and everyone should learn Norwegian and watch Himmelfall. Unless they end up texting it, you can skip the part about learning Norwegian then. Not that it is very likely to happen.
