Good Grief

Ran into more phone-line troubles. Moved to a new room on Sunday, called the phone company to switch lines Monday morning. Tuesday was a holiday (Happy Canadia Day!) but even so, I didn’t get my phone back until Friday morning. And I’m STILL waiting for my high speed to be routed to this line (they said by today, but…) I would have posted sooner, but yesterday, shortly after getting my phone back, I had to go back out home for my aunt’s Wedding, and I only just got back. So I’m using my temporary dial up account to post this. If my high-speed ain’t back by tonight, it should be on Monday. So, there should be a comic up for either Monday or Tuesday…

…no fooling this time.

…seriously.:wave:

you always have phone problems in your aparts. That’s so weird o_O

I like to think that Online Life is something thats worth waiting for. :hahaha;

However, a word of advise:I suggest you make an extra update or two when you can…it would lower your chances of being lynched by some of your less-understanding fans. :get it?:

Release the hou . . . I mean, I understand. :slight_smile:

My patience is wearing thin, nd I have a limited supply of that at the best of times.

Goodies, I was wondering what had happened to OL.

It is, isn’t it? I just noticed that…

Completely understandable, I ran into similiar problems, our local phone company Verizon was providing less than dependable internet service to us so we decided to take our business elsewhere at my house. Unfortunately when we went to Earthlink they went on to tell us for 14 days that we would have service by the end of the next business day. Going back to Verizon we find that they actually never stopped providing service to us, thus explaining why Earthlink was unable to connect us however not explaining the absence of actual connection to the internet. So we once again cancelled Verizon as a provider, we didn’t want to go back to Earthlink due to their incompetence in seeing the problem as too why they couldn’t hook us up, and so we went to Comcast who said he could easily have us hooked up by weeks end. Week’s end came and no service. We called the company to ask what’s wrong and were informed that we have to have Television service from them before they’ll provide internet access, something the gentleman we spoke to the first time didn’t mention despite it having been brought up in that conversation. So finally 2 days ago we got hooked up again. Phew
