Sigh… Looks like Microsoft has patent on the FAT filesystem. While that is no surprise, they’ll now start charging for implementations using FAT.

That includes (but is not limited to) next to EVERY FRIGGEN’ Dual-Booting PC running Linux and Windows simultaneously… And yet, this is only the tip of the iceberg. God, can’t someone invalidate all the E-patents available? >_<

Don’t think harddrives, think floppies and usb storage devices. They use FAT, and there’s a lot of them.
