Im finally getting a New Ps2 this week.
But should i spend all 200$ on a brand-new one with Network capibality or get a used one?
Depends on the price of the used one and its quality.
Depends if you are ever going to play online. Like SOCOM and FFXI.
I was debating the same thing about either a new or used PS2. I decided to get a new one, I have no idea how much that used PS2 was used before.
Get a new one. Believe me, it’s a blessing in the long run, since the older ones are extremely prone to Disc Read Error. Just make sure it doesn’t say “SCPH-30001” anywhere, and you’ll be all right.

What does that mean??
I dont intend to play FFXI but i might play socom as my friend has it. also, im prob going to get it as a lot of new games are coming out that are online capibale.
