I realize I’m really fucking old for this, but I’m considering it. I’ve read up on it, and I like the idea, but I still have one question: What do they do to teeth that are too far out of place to correct with typical braces? I haven’t been able to find information on this anywhere, and I’m positive that I’m in this dilemma.

The longer you wait, the more it hurts, and the longer you need to have them, and a higher price.
But anyway, mine were to bad for normal braces too. Basically, the put these 2 metal bars on your jaw. Them run from the back of the top jaw to front of your bottom jaw. They hook them to whatever tooth it is, and they fix the issue. It sort of gives you an overbite though. I don’t remember what this paticular device is called, but i can find out for you, if you want.
Also, if the issue is that a tooth is to far sideways, instead of using standard iron wire like in normal braces, they use a special plastic that runs over 1 or 2 teeth. It actually pulls on those 2 teeth in paticular, one being the anchor, the other being the one that should be moved, and pulls on them harder than a normal wire could.
Oh I’m sure there’s SOMETHING they can do. I once had a single tooth that was twisted at a wrong angle and all they did was put a tiny metal button on it to force it to twist. And twist it did. VERY. SLOWLY. That was one of the more painful experiences I had had, it was worse than having tighter bands put around the brasces themselves. The weirder your teeth are, the longer it’ll take, the more expensive and painful it will be. The process can last over 2 years. Is it worth it in the end? It was for me, but it didn’t seem like it in the process.

Lol. I don’t have free Orthodontal though Well, I’ll keep looking. My teeth are actually in pretty good order, the bottom can be fixed easily and completely. There’s just one really quite absurd situation in the top left where the teeth aren’t IN THE RIGHT ORDER. I’m talking, they’d have to swap the position of two teeth The premolar is IN FRONT OF the Canine That’s what I’m worried about, really. I honestly wouldn’t waste my money if you’d do it just for aesthetics. If you’re having mouth pain and shit, I’d probably spend it, but just for looks, it’s a waste.
You’d be amazed the effect a nice smile can have on people’s immediate perception of you, be it a girl you like or an employer. Study after study shows that better looking people are viewed upon more favorably.
That’s true, but I smile with my mouth closed (despite having rather straight teeth), so I often forget that. If Hades smiles with his mouth open, it might be wise to get them, depending on the cost.

And yes, Sin is right. I used to have crooked front teeth when I was 7 or 8 and it really made me feel little and not normal at all. I used to get teased by my cousins and it’s cool cuz they all have twisted and crooked fangs now and I just flash my pearly whites at them and they are shamed.

It is also ridiculously expensive. Depending on how deep the roots have to go, and a few other things, it can be up to 10 grand a tooth. I’d get braces.
