Gamepad not responding

I use, as my computer gamepad, a PS2 controller plugged into a USB adapter. And it’s suddenly not responding. The little “analog” light still turns on, so the controller still works, but nothing is responding to it, not even the thingy in the Control Panel.

Anyone have any idea what might be up?

(And I’ve already tried plugging it into different ports and rebooting. No dice.)

You may be missing the proper driver for the device.

Best suggestion I’ve got is to google your USB adapter and check to make sure you have everything you need.
