VBulletin released version 2.3.1 of their forum software. I have just finished updating our boards. Mostly just error fixing.
In other news, VB version 3 is imminently close. They are at Beta 5.0 now, the 3rd publicly available one. So it’s mostly just bug hunting left and then we will have the latest toy on the php market installed in our very own Agora

I apologize for the forum bug some of you were experiencing recently. They were either due to a sloppy hack re-installation following the forum upgrade, or it could possibly be because of a faulty vb-upgrade (since they just released another patch after their first one today). Either way, the problems are fixed now, and the hacks will be reinstalled in a little while.
Edit: I’m also running some counter fixes, which will hopefully repair most misreported post and thread and whatnot counts.

Actually Merl, that patch was because they took the & to & too far, and in text e-mails for account activation, it had &. You were using hacks for old versions of vBulletin. The welcome panel isn’t as much a hack as a template alteration. However, the double post hack performs queries. That’s the one that fucked it up.
