FMA Final Episode 51 *SPOILERS*

Yep, the last episode is 51, not 52 (probably because the first season was only 25 eps long). Awesome ending. I was just wondering if there’s some kind of reference I’m missing… was there really a Thule Society? Are the people mentioned by Ed and his father “real-life”?

And they left the door WAY open for a sequel… probably just a movie or OAV would do the trick, but I’m sure with their creativity they could make a whole new series out of it.

There is gonna be movie.

FMA?

Full Metal Alchemist.

Nice avvy Kiro.

I saw it too Cid, and I was equally impressed. And a movie IS in the works.

It was a great end. The part with each of them was kinda corny though. It reminded me of the “Somewhere out there” scene from An American Tail, lol. I felt a little underwhelmed at the same time though, since I thought there was gonna be another couple episodes. But everything up to that point was sheer fucking brilliance.

NO! NOOO! I can’t see it until DECEMBER! ;_;

Oh, okay, and thanks!

Wow. That was friggin’ awesome.

I think they set things up maybe for an Ed/Envy confrontation OVA, or maybe in the movie.

im up to episode 22, im kinda glad there are only 51 episodes since i wouldn’t want to see the series go dry like so many other extremely long animes

Well there is still Envy, Gluttony and/or Lyra to un-loose end.

You mean the fat guy doesn’t die? LAME

Pierson, it’s kinda left in the open about what happens to Lyra and Gluttony. She does something in that split second, leaving a hole behind. I thought there was some kind of reaction that just blew the both of them to particles or some such.

I know. This the and/or commend. :stuck_out_tongue: They left it so one or both lived, so they can either come back later, or they can just say ‘well it’s a secret’ and keep us guessing for the rest of forever. >_<

Still, do you think they SHOULD make a movie? The ending as it stands is pretty much perfect, so would a film ruin or further glorify one of the best series ever?

They’re making a game as well that is also a side story

Gluttony came out of the floor and attacked her. I thought maybe they just got to each other.

It’s not exactly perfect, since it does leave several strands flying. Tying them up can still result in an excellent story.

dude gluttony was fricken harsh…he made my day at every encounter…

as for that i believe that…i believe the thule thing was just history repaeting itself as for what had happened with the ancient religion thing…and i believe that the people arereal life cuz ed got sent to the other world aka our world…and at the time where he ended up (1921 i believe it was) einstien was around, and so where all those other people…and holy crap i so thought ed and rose or winly/winry/ whatever you call her were gonna fall in love…but oh well

I’m still trying to figure it out exactly, but Karl Haushofer was one of Hitler’s “esoteric mentors” who inspired Hitler’s demands for German ‘living space’ in the east at the expense of the Slavic with his geopolitical theories, while the Thule Society was some esoteric cult that believed in the Aryan super race and preached the coming of a German messiah, though from what I can gather Karl’s SON was part of the Thule society and not himself. I’m not sure which one they are referring to in the series, probably Karl.

Robert Hutchins Goddard was a pioneer of modern rocketry, and launched the first liquid-fuel rocket. Hermann Oberth was another one of those, pretty much doing parrallel research but never collaborating with Goddard.

Dracula was a vampire.

Einstein sticks his tongue out at cameras.

im pretty sure that along with the german messiah thing hitler initiated “magic” stuff in attempts to gain power.
