Final Fantasy the television series

Fractyl: I think you had the right idea, but the wrong Forum: it’s in the Anime Forum that you can expect most people who read it to be familiar with at least some Anime. Buy that same token, using examples from the FF Games would be appropriate here, since this is the FF Forum. It’s what I did above. In both cases, however, extra detail is helpful for those who may read them without knowing enough.

Wilfredo Martinez: Do look at me, vanguard Ziggy started this thread. I just replied to it. But I think I can set an example up like you say.

Fullmetal Alchemist: Not only the concept of a life-circle, but FFXII borrowed the Chimera concept. FMA happens to be with Square

What on earth… how did FFXII have anything whatsoever to do with FMA’s Chimera? And who cares who produced the anime?

Cidolfas: Not, borrowed the element. You might call it a “reverse ex-crossover”

Most of the chimeras of FMA were the result of fusing humans with animals, a forbidden form of alchemy, though most humans were forced against their will.

The same principle was used in FFXII as mages who used the forbidden magiks to sacrifice their humanity for long life as a beast.

You’re talking an unbelievably minor point mentioned inside the Clan Primer and maybe (maybe) one or two NPC conversations. It has nothing whatsoever to do with the main story or themes of FF12.

Cidolfas: True, but still triva worth knowing.

Also, forgot a movie to add fot the series notion: Jim Henson’s The Dark Crystal, due to its’ crystal plot.

Yes, but you’re acting as if he should have instantly know what you’re talking about.

And stop bringing in other movies/anime/WHATEVER when you’re perfectly capable of merely referencing Final Fantasy.
