I’m with RC on the graphics though. That is infact the thign that lured me here and kept me, pictures in the FF5 walkthrough (since it was the only complete one at the time).
Just because the international version isn’t widespread doesn’t mean there shouldn’t be something about it other than the sphere grid in it. There’s quite a few RPGs on RPGC that aren’t exactly widespread outside of Japan.
Weird, the FF5 shrine’s pictures is what lured me here too.
EDIT:
On the overdrive a list of all the overdrive modes and how to achieve them would be very helpful.
I disagree, Vicki. Just the layout of a lot of sections of the shrine would make us say “no” to it. Content wise, its “mostly” there, but as seen here and in the staff board, its not all there.

I’m not saying it shouldn’t have information on the International version, I’m saying it should be able to listed without it. Sort of like the NES Dragon Warriors vs GBC Dragon Warriors. The GBC ones have extras, but for all intent and purposes, the NES information will get you through the game. It covers a game completely, and isn’t that what matters? As for International being hard to get for some and Japanese only games being covered. There is a quite a big difference between being able to download the ROM and buying the game (and probably PS2 and coverters and such for the difference in signal between NTSC and PAL, not forget the expenses of shipping and handling and getting a copy from Europe). It is ahrder than you think. That is also where a “co-maintainer” with access to the International version comes in.
Sin, I know your point, and from what I said previously I think you can see that I definitely agree with it. I think the contradiction between this post and the beginning of my previous one points to a need for standardization, which is an issue that probably should be discussed separately by the staff (see, I’d discuss, but I’m not staff and therefore it’s not my decision, lol).

I was just meaning that there’s a couple faqs on gamefaqs that cover the international version, I’m just suggesting that if Xelo doesn’t have access to it that he CAN ask one of the authors of said faqs if he could post it on the shrine. Asking for permission to use something isn’t a job that’s gonna take a large amount of time to do like importing the game and what not.
Vicki: I think the staff talked about that standardization thing about a year ago and if memory serves me a couple people got really pissy about it.
I agree with Charle on the picture and title, but it was pretty good, it still needs some work I guess. In some areas it gives vague information, not very detailed, and some parts are confusing.
