It’s coming this summer for the DS! The some of the music is recycled from both FFTA and FFXII. The plot has a “Neverending Story” feel to it.

PLOT.
Luso Clemens is a mischievous boy who, after being tardy one time too many, is forced to clean-up the library before summer vacation. It was there he finds an old book in the library, full of image of fantasy and adventure. But the middle is a complete blank, where the the name of story’s hero should be. The moment he writes his own name on the blank page, Luso finds himself literally drawn into the story, into the Ivalice of the Golden Age.

This franchise has really hasn’t been this same since the original in 1998. :frowning:

Well, after all this is part of the FFTA sub-franchise. Maybe they will make more installments in FFT’s vein if the PSP version manages to sell reasonably well. Keep in mind that FFT was a semi-cult title back then and it was not released in Europe, so they need the new version to get people used to it again.
