FF6 Remix Sign Up Thread Thing Sorta

I had this semi-original, fun-sounding idea, to gather people to “play” characters of FF6 and create a screenshot-based comic-type thing out of it.

How it works: You (the participant) take on the role of a character. But instead of playing the character, you’re being yourself.

For example: Let’s say I let X be Kefka. Instead of spouting the maniacal lines of the transvestite clown angel, he spouts things like “It’s YOU’RE!!!111 >.<” cuz that’s what X does.

More on how it works: I found a full script of the game, and following that, the participants will rewrite it, most likely on a thread that will be on the Media or RP Forum.

Get it? Sound cool? Wanna help? Here’s how:

*I’ll need at least 15-20 people to play characters. I’d like to get as many as possible.
*Someone to take and edit screen shots after the script is done would be helpful. I would most likely do some of this, assuming I have time.

To sign up, just post here what part you would like. Don’t worry if someone already called the part you wanted. Once I have a lot of people, we can sort all that out. And go ahead and put multiple parts, since some of them are pretty minor, and with what I just said, you may not get your first choice. (Especially since I AM going to be one of the main female characters… Dunno which one yet tho ;P)

I don’t really mind who I am. Actually, given some of the “bitter old man” nonsense I spew in the chat sometimes, I suppose I ought be Strago. (and I highly doubt anyone else’ll want 'em.)

Are we limited along the roles of gender lines?Since no girls have signed up (yet) sign me up for either Terra, or Celes,or Relm after you have made your choice, Dragonessa.Doesnt matter which I get.:cool:

I think this would be an interesting premise… if no one else has chosen it, I’ll see what I can do with Shadow.

Apparently you never clicked on the link, because in the other thread, i stated that I wanted to play Either Terra or Edgar.

Ohhh…well there are three roles there you know…I basically assumed Dragonessa would pick Celes and since you wanted to be Terra, then I would get stuck with Relm with is okay by me.Wasnt paying attention, geesh.Seraphim Ephyon apparently wasnt looking either.

Actually, consider a more mature approach. Being in the role of a wild kid really sounds odd at first, so why not be a much more… civilized person

No offense to TGD, Eva and others, but I think most of the major roles should be taken by major regulars/staffers that are well known…

Well, I’m on this board everyday…but whatever, I’ll try other direct approaches that dont rule anyone out to get myself acknowledged I guess.

Or maybe I just need to clarify. ahem This isn’t the final casting. Just tell me what part you want, so it can be taken into consideration.

And I’m working on the full cast list thing, so peoples can be reminded of who all is in it.
