^^ that black mage looks like a li’l baby.

<img src=“http://www.rpgclassics.com/staff/tenchimaru/td.gif”> Aw man. It doesn’t use the FF8 cardgame, but the far inferior FF9 cardgame instead.

That’s just wrong: You can see the Black Mage’s face.

They have red mages!

Black mages with faces = BAD
Red mages = GOOD
FF = GOOD
FFXI = GOOD
MMORPG = UGLY

I want a mmorpg with full PvP. Let loose the pks, it makes things more intresting. I wonder why they decided black mage needed to look like some sort of alien baby? I must admit my views on black mage differed quite a bit from Squaresofts and it made me resent FFIX. I always thought that a master of destructive magic would be less innocent than their white mage counterparts. Was that just me or do you guys(gals) agree?

That’s not the normal BMage, that’s just the BMage of the chibi race (don’t know the name). So all classes will look like that with that race. Dig?

And hasn’t this game been out for some time in Japan? What’s taking them so long over here?

FF= Good
IX= Good
Tetra Master= Good
Me not having the console= * Comits seppuku *

They’re using Tetra Master? Thats bull. Triple Triad was better IMO. Oh well. I’ll just have to get use to it when its actually released.

I am getting this game. However, it may be ugly on my 56k connection, so I’m gonna pester my mother until she gets me broadband. Then, the fun will come in leaps and bounds and fun.

P.S. The chibi race is the Tarutaru. Although, you know that already. :stuck_out_tongue:

I know, I hate Tetra Master. No matter what, there’s always the random chance that the level 1 goblin card could beat the infinitely powerful shiva card (As was the case in my game).

Terta Master could be really frustrating thanks to the Surprise Fact, it took me several of my lifeless hours to train myself and my crads into perfection as to avoid it.

Also, 99% of the time you loose a card, if you play against the same guy inmediately he uses it in the next round so you can get it back

I personally love Tetra Master, and I was thinking the other day, “What if I could play Tetra Master with humans instead of NPCS?” Although, it was fun to suck almost all of the cards out of Conde Petie. Those Scottish dwarves just couldn’t beat me.

I have been researching this game for quite some time, and find another intresting link from the last one I posted in the PC forum.

Though, I am still really pissed I didn’t get in the beta…

giant robot attacks Square Enix and crumbles it to rubble.

Because there are already too many card games that have bigger roots and you wouldn’t be able to level up your cards.

What I really loved was to kick the crap out of Treno’s nobles. I don’t know but ruining the rich is so much fun.

You don’t even wanna know how many times I retried the Card Stadium to win a Namingway. I could beat him every time, it was keeping the Namingway in my control that was hard. Yes, beating the Treno Nobles is fun too. YP had legendary luck. I would say, “No! Don’t put that there!” YP: “Why?” Game: Combo 9! Perfect! Me: jaw drops through floor

It’s not that hard to win a perfect game in Tetra Master. Just throw down a really weak card with arrows on all sides and let the opponent keep it, then flip it back after. EH BADA BOOM BADA BING!

hopefully they’ll design the game so as to encourage party-forming as much as possible, since that was what a lot of the FF battle system was all about.

Actually, it does. From what I read, it is very hard to solo past level ten for most classes… probably even lower for classes like white mage.

And with things like Link shells, and very hard Bosses… hell, they are encouraging ARMIES.

blah, it should only be like a 4 person-party or something. Keep things more closely-knit and easier to interchange. Plus the 4-person party is the best RPG kind of party :stuck_out_tongue:
