Yeah, it’s a shame NP doesn’t really do that anymore. It’s why loved getting their magazines.
Wonder if I’ll get a new magazine subscription now that mine is dead. Happened last time a magazine I had got discontinued (VG Magazine). I ended up getting a free subscription to EGM.
For some good news: They’re putting the last issue of EGM online for everyone to read.
Maybe they shouldn’t have given away that free year of subscription last year.
Yeah, that sucks. Now that means GI is the only other gaming rag I read besides PC Gamer.
Well, NP may still be around, but they’re not the same. After Nintendo stopped publishing the mag (and the strategy guides, which is what I really miss), NP became a lot more like the rest.
EGM will be missed. It was one of the last ones that I respected. I guess I’ll have to settle for GI… -_-
