Sorry about that i was half a wake when typeing that This is what i want to know
I Rolled a 19 Dm Said it is a Crit He say Nexts to Roll One More time i roll I got a 19
DM Told me It was not a Instant Death but i Thought IF you roll a 19 then one more 19 he is death
No, rolling a double critical isn’t instant death. The second roll after a critical merely is to see wether you indeed rolled a critical. If you “miss” on your second roll your attack is just a regular hit, if you hit it really becomes a critical. Then after that you roll for damage. There is no bonus from the second 19.
I always thought that was overkill, needing two rolls to score a critical. Warhammer only needs one but NOOOOO that’s not GOOD enough for D&D. Lousy overachieving bastard.
Well, if you roll a “critical” on the first die you ALWAYS hit, regardless of enemy defenses or whatever. That’s pretty neat to begin with. But yeah, it’s kinda silly.
Dugen is the present subjunctive plural form of the Old English verb dugan, which means ‘to avail’ or ‘to be of use’. Since word order is not as important in Old English, perhaps he means dugen and dracan ‘and may dragons be of use’.
However, it is probably the runt cousin of Dungeons and Dragons. :ah-ha!:
