Does anyone on this board have the strategy guide for Lufia 2?

I would really like to find out if the Strategy Guide for Lufia 2 is really that scarce- Several gamers on another board didn’t even know one existed- i bought it at a game store when the game came out- i would like to hear from anyone else on this board who has it- This is one of my all time favorite games and the scarceity of the strategy guide has been a question that has bugged me for years- i can’t find one ever on ebay-anyone else here have it?

I can tell you this: If it’s hard to find the game, the guide can’t be easy either. Yes, it is scarce, just like pretty much anything from the SNES down, that’s why you haven’t found anything yet.

All strategy guides pre-FF7 are considered rare at this point. Well, I guess a couple (FF3/6j, Super Metroid, FF1) are considered HTF, not rare, but they’re still pretty far out there.

Rather than post here about really rare stuff (not that I mind, but a lot of people seem to be getting annoyed), why not ask the guys at Digital Press? They make rarity guides for this stuff for just that reason. I’ve got their 8-bit and below rarity guide, and I’d really like to get the “advanced edition,” but they’re having a problem with their publisher right now.

Another request (this one of a personal nature): why not take some pictures of your entire collection? I love some good collection pics (like those that Digital Press’ Joe Santulli publishes as “Room of Doom” at the end of every issue of Tips & Tricks), as evidenced by me showing off mine. I’d really like to see a grand image of what you’ve got.

I have one, that came with the Dutch copy of the game. Nice art, but it really… sucked at the strategy bit. It’s also in pieces and scattered over the western hemisphere <_<

Is the Dutch copy as cool as the German copy?

Yes, it has shit-eating.

I guessed that one existed, although I never saw one until now. Mind you, I just used the shrine on this site for help.

I loved the Earthbound guide… wish I still had mine.

I’ve got two, but neither are in good shape (EB guides, not Lufia 2)… ;-_-

If I hadn’t heard a couple of years ago that a Lufia 2 guide existed, I never would have thought there’d been one. I mean, not too many games back there got guides.
