Ocarina of Time: Besides for the zombies and the mummies, which took forever to kill with child Link, I’d have to go for the water tentacles and absolutely everything inside Lord Jabu Jabu. BTW Dev, what testicle?
Diablo 2: Duriel (Final boss of Second Act). Really disgusting fella.
Icewind Dale: Vale of Shadows (Inside the catacombs) and Dorn’s Deep. Both did an excellent job on making me feel claustrophobic, especially since they were so damn long.
BAHAMUT LAGOON - Strange how no one mentioned the dragons from Bahamut Lagoon. Most of them look creepy and/or disgusting. Especially at higher levels.
I’m actually going to have to go with Metroid here. I’ve always found that playing Metroid alone in a darkened room at night creates some kind of subtle ongoing creepiness. Super Metroid gave this off really well, and Prime continued it, especially with the Chozo ghosts.
You say it’s a tentacle?
Could’ve sworn Navi’s description (C-Up while Z-targeting an enemy) said Giant Testicle. I just HOPE I read it wrong. :no2:
Either way, it does look like a giant penis and smacking it with the boomerang made the most unsettling sound effect, and it felt TEH GHEY.
Then again, back when I played the game (which was actually a couple years after it came out), I thought the Goron’s singing in the Fire Palace sounded like a Burger King commercial airing at the time (“Have it your way, have it your way, at BK. Uh, huhhhh.”) :ulty:
That was sorta creepy too.
