Has there been a commerical that leaves you feeling uneasy or scared? Then you might have encounter a “Creepy Commerical”, which are ads that use scare tactics or just leave a sour taste in your mouth. For my entry in this, I bring along two radio ads.
The first one is for organ donation, with a very creepy lady singing while a voice over tells you to sign up for being a organ donator when you die. It wouldn’t be so bad if the music just has this “evil” vibe to it.
The other one is a “Click it or Ticket” ad where a person is in his car and a voice keep telling him to buckle his seat belt. Soon the voice turns alive and starts to tell him to do it or he will be fined.
There were other ads that creeped me out, but I can remember if I tried. And personity, I don’t want to remember them. ::dekar!::
THE THIS IS YOUR BRAIN ON DRUGS COMMERCIAL! IS THERE AN EGG IN MY HEAD?! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! SCCAAARRRRYYYYYY!!! WHAT IF IT HATCHES?! WHAT WILL COME OUT?! MY HEAD IS WARM! ITS THE PERFECT INCUBATOR!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! MY BRAIN BIRD IS HATCHING!!!
That commercial where it says Disease…Drugs…Illeagel…Illeagel to sell to someone under 18(i think that’s how it goes). It just creeps me out with the hole in the old guys throat and they use music that just doesn’t fit the commercial.
The Stop Smoking ad where the guy’s in a bar holding a fistful of cigarettes. He squeezes them and black tar runs out of them, between his fingers and drips into his glass where it congeals. He then drinks the entire contents down in one gulp.
The “where do terrorists get their money? if you buy drugs some of it comes from you” propaganda film disguised as a PSA during Super Bowl 36 (jan 02, rams vs patriots) creeped me out very much.
Not to change the subject (cause we never do that here… <_< ), but the new Windows XP SP2 features a new version of Internet Explorer that blocks pop-ups. I guess that form of advertising is going to disappear in the coming year and be replaced with something else annoying.
The credit commercial that calls you when you have weird spendings ( I forgot its name). The weirdest one is the one with the female dentist who was affected by some guy named Larry.
