I was browsing the graphic novel section of my library and came across this little gem. Actually, the name of the author jumped out at me: Doug TenNapel, best known as the mind behind Earthworm Jim and The Neverhood. Said mind is delightfully twisted, and this book was awesome. It’s got demons, cat monsters, aliens, giant eels, and a bunch of awesome fights.
It would make a kick-ass movie, and while Fox has the rights to it, it looks like they aren’t doing anything with them. 8-( IMDB pegs it at 2010, but I think that’s wishful thinking.
