Seriously, I have no idea what the hell I’m supposed to be doing here apart from maybe setting up a few cities and building some workers. Does anyone have a link to the manual or a .txt for it, 'cause I’m flying blind here.
Well, if it’s like Civ 2, then yeah, without the manual it doesn’t do diddly squat for you. The manual takes you through turn by turn for the first who knows how long. Of course, I found it was just easier to play a random game and figure it out for myself. I’d do the same thing for Civ 3, even if they did make things a little more complex.
Yeah, I played civ2 and civ3 without ever touching the tutorial. Ever. And I still figured the games out. Don’t touch it, learn like I did.
Fact of the matter is, the civilopedia should be all you’ll ever need. If you have a question, look it up there. If you fail to find it there, try checking CivFanatics . They’ll likely have what you need.
