I’ve just been watching, and I was wondering…does it have ANYTHING to do with games like Crono Trigger…or however it’s spelt?
What do you mean “watching”? It’s a game, and it’s Trigger’s sequel (Well, technically, it’s Radical Dreamers’ sequel but…). I suggest you wait until you get a doctorate on quantum physics before trying to understand the storyline though.

It’s Chrno Crusade (It’s not a grammatical mistake, it’s the actual name) but it doesn’t have anything to do with the games.

GONZO has become a cliche
Ok, thanks. That has been bugging me, and I couldn’t find anything about it.

Thats the basic idea of the series. Although it is much more intriguing at times.
And although Gonzo is cliche they have also done a lot of side work like with Narue no Sekei (World of Narue) for CG work but they weren’t the main animation team. They are just recognized as being on the groups with the smoothest transitions with CG and CG Anime Cels.

Sorry Gainax is more hype then actual goodness. Only enjoy kono minikuku mo utsukoshi sekei and Mahoromatic. Otherwise their animation style leaves much to be desired and EVA is crap in itself due to the fault of the director cause he made a series where a person could like it only if they could relate to the characters and let the story hang (as presented by the director himself at a japanese convention 3 years ago)
And that is as much as I will say here cause it’s offtopic over all. I’ll say my longer rants on gainax for another time and place.
