Castlevania: Symphony of the Night

Wow, Castlevania is one of my most favourite games (I played it at my cousin’s until the bastard lost it).Your lucky Charle, I cant even get a copy without resorting to eBay.Its that rare, which REALLY sucks.

It has one of the greatest opening movies in all of gamedom, that and death is a big jerk.

also: WRONG FORUM GRAHHHHHHHH!!!

What are you talking about? The opening movie sucks. The opening sequence is neat, but not the movie.

As for the game, it is very good. I played it and wished that there was more. The music is all right. The game pretty much has awesome gameplay and exploration. It’s just fun to play.

Yeah I ment sequence

Because we’ve gone this long in an SotN thread without doing it…

DIE MONSTER, YOU DON’T BELONG IN THIS WORLD!!

IT WAS NOT BY MY HAND THAT I AM ONCE AGAIN GIVEN FLESH. I WAS CALLED HERE BY HUMANS WHO WISH TO PAY ME TRIBUTE.

:stuck_out_tongue:

TRIBUTE?! YOU STEAL MEN’S SOULS AND MAKE THEM YOUR SLAVES!

PERHAPS THE SAME CAN BE SAID FOR ALL RELIGIONS! :moogle:

Should I just tag along with the quotes or tell my opinions on the game?
Oh what the hell.

“YOUR WORDS ARE AS EMPTY AS YOUR SOUL! MANKIND ILLNEEDS A SAVIOUR SUCH AS YOU!”

Damnit I need to find this game heh. I have also never played it (Was not a HUGE Castlevania fan) but the hype surrounding it has had me interested for awhile =)

WHAT IS A MAN ?! A MISERABLE LITTLE PILE OF SECRETS !! BUT ENOUGH TALK, HAVE AT YOU !!!

cue Dracula battle music

WHAT IS A MAN? A MISERABLE LITTLE PILE OF SECRETS! BUT ENOUGH TALK, HAVE AT YOU!

I’ll agree with all of that, but it should be pointed out that a lot, if not most, of the enemy designs were taken directly from Dracula X: Rondo of Blood.

I remember when they were selling brand-new, non-GH copies of SotN at Costco for about 15 dollars when the game was selling for about 50 bucks on Ebay. If I was smart, I would have bought a bunch and sold them. =(
