Car stereo stuff

well, more specifically, sound systems.
I just recently acquired two 8" speakers, box included, that just require the stereo wires for them to work. I just need some help in that area.
I dunno where those would be located. basically, all i have is a box, two speakers, and 4 things (the red and black inputs for stereo wiring.)

Help?

Edit: Also, I know they’re located somewhere in the trunk. Are there any problems I may have with them?

Edit 2: Yeah, bit of a problem. I can’t reach any of the wiring, and i can’t remove the covering on the inside of the trunk to just remove the speakers themselves. I’m basically fucked.

Have someone professionally install them, or you risk losing any warranties you have on your car or speakers and run a high chance of fucking something up since you don’t know what you’re doing.

But supposing you don’t want to spend the money on a professional installation, at least find a friend who is good with cars and have him help you out, it’d work a lot better than asking people on the boards.

You need an amplifier first. After that you connect the speakers to the amplifier, then the amplifiers to the battery. To do that you need to purhcase the wires from wal mart or something. All I know how to install is a head unit, but I know it isn’t that hard. However, I highly reccomend that you do find someone you know who knows about this stuff, largely because it’s a very hands on thing - and talkinga bout it on the internet won’t be very helpful. Professional installation however, is not neccessary and won’t void any warranties. Car audio warranties don’t go out just because you install it yourself - most car audio companies expect their customers to install themselves.
