Burning Software

I want to reformat my computer, but there are far too many files on here that I need to save. The thing is, I need some burning software that I can use to burn all said files onto CDs so I can have them ready again after the format. Being able to bypass copywrite protection isn’t a factor in this case, as I’m simply looking to burn information already on my computer onto CDs. I’d use the burning program that came bundled with the drive, but it’s very slow and cumbersome to use. So I’m looking for a faster, sleeker alternative, preferably free.

<a href=“http://www.nero.com”>Nero</a>
<a href=“http://alcohol-software.com”>Alcohol 120%</a>

Nero is probably your best bet for burning software. Its ridiculously easy to use, and hasn’t crapped out on me ever.

Yeah, Nero rocks so much more for burning, whereas Alcohol is used for ripping and using ISOs more.

Nero, only once I had a buggered CD, and that was cos ME was Vilg up beond recontion and crashed mid Burn. Not Nero fault.

Easy CD creator is not very painful to start using.

Big Nutter

I think that sentence is beyond recognition.

Also, something else just came to me. Ask around and see if any of your friends have a FireWire drive they can hook up to your computer. My brother has one of those and it can store anywhere from 20-160gb of data. You could just shove anything vital onto the drive, and put it back on your computer after the re-format. That is, of course, if you have a FireWire port.

Sorry,

Nero only once didn’t burn properly, but then ME Coused a system falure mid-burn.
