Which you think was the ultimate boss fight experience?
Would it be Sephiroth? or J e n o v a?? Maybe Seymour or Sin, or even Seifer?
Who was the ultimate boss that pushed the best out of you?
None, I triumpth over them bitches!
The Phases in the .Hack series can be quite difficult if your not high level…
On the other side of this question. The worst boss fight ever was fighting the aeons and Yu Yevon in sin because you constantly had Auto-Life on the whole battle so there was no difficulty. Thats not what a final boss battle should be.
Final fantasy X is a good game but a bad final fantasy, specially when you consider the great ff VII, VIII and IX, the best ff’s ever, and the best games too!!
Spoilers for FF10 and FF7:
The Yu Yevon fight wasn’t a boss. That’s like calling that battle at the end of FF7 with Cloud and Sephiroth deep in the crater the final boss. Braska’s Final Aeon is the boss of FF10, the Yu Yevon battle is basically a controllable cutscene.
I still have fond memories of Chaos from FF1. That is the boss battle I remember the most vividly. I have beaten almost all the other FF games and it is hard for me to remember a lot of the bosses.
What? U sayin’ Sephy in the crater was not my bitch?
edit:Refresh, silly.
The hardest boss i ever fought was Ultamacia IN FF8. That was a hard ass battle.
Chaos was memorable for me. I remember my WHM (named Moon) nailed the kill shot with Fade (Holy) for the win. 7 with Sephiroth was obviously very memorable because of the build up. The music added a lot to the fight. The Jecht fight in X was memorable for me, but mostly because the music was quite a surprise.
I gotta say VI - Kefka for my overall favorite. The whole “pick the order of your characters” was a nice touch, and the cut scene prior to the battle was pretty much unheard of at the time.
In XI, I think the CoP Airship fight was my favorite.
Wiegraf/Velius from FFT:ulty:
the phantom train in DoS. It ALWAYS owns me wiht htat acid rain thingy.
although the most fun boss fight isn’t EXACTLY in a final fantasy: the last boss i

nice necropost. That said, I now take a moment to reply. Anyway, FFX was quite nice, but either i was too strong (probably, getting all celestial weapons first does that) or it was too easy, cause I beat through jecht and the aeons without even a thought to auto-life.
Overall though, I’d have to say Chaos. Honestly, of all the bosses I just love how there’s so much he can do, so much access to spells and such. And best of all, when you deliver that final blow, it keeps you in suspence for that one moment, wondering ‘Did I beat him?’ before he starts fading away,.
My favorite boss fight is Sephiroth’s final with that awesome theme song. The most challenging, however, would be Omega Weapon in FF8.
That S.O.B. took freaking forever to kill! Do you know how many items you’re NOT given to defeat it? I had to use gameshark. It annoyed me to know end… But Selphie’s “The End” is actually quite pretty, though it defeats the point of a successful win.
I dont see how people can so easily overlook the Weigraf/Velius fight at the end of Chap. II in Final Fantasy Tactics. That fight is a bitch. I played through the game like 4 times, and every time, I get stuck fast at that fight for days.
Also the Marquis Elmdor/Celia and Lede fight inside the cathedral. He’s got that blood suck thing that turns you into vamps, and you have a snowball’s chance in hell of getting ahold of his lovely Genji assortment.
I really liked the part in FFVII when Sephiroth kills Aeris, and you are left to fight Jenova with Aeris theme in the background. Its just incredible.
