What I mean is going through an entire quest where using things such as heavy weapons, max cures and so on rather than species skills. Awhile ago I said I’d try it. Problem is I got too sidetracked.
Now that I’ve beaten Disgaea maybe I should try it for real this time. A simple idea that.
Humans can only punch until I can afford a weapon that will not teach skills. They must seal any dodges learn.
Mystics can absorb for stat bonuses, but can not use the skills beyond that. The absorb is allowed to see if Mystics can be more useful for using item.
Mechs can not use programs.
Monsters can not use monsters skills, but can change forms.
So I guess my safest bet would either be Lute’s quest which is too short. So maybe Asellus’ quest next. I’ll remember to start on it this time. Maybe by Friday. Then move on to a new game.
I mean, uh yeah. I don’t know, I don’t think it’s feasible. The stronger weapons have too few ammo. Like the Hyperion Bazooka is nice, but I mean, if you wanna beat it with heavy weapons, you’ll have to have 4 of them on everyone, sheesh Basically, if you can’t find some really good combos, which would probly take too much experimentation for my tastes, you’re gonna be screwed after a while.
And congrats on beating Disgaea. I bought it for by birthday a few weeks ago, but I also started work, I haven’t got a chance to play it yet
I’m playing Red’s quest using the party of Red, Liza (Back Pack user), BJ&K my official mech, Mestharim because they mellow ring is an item, and Cotton my official monster. To see how each race fares. I’ve already beaten Shuzer. Next stop probably M Black after I buy at least one of each heavy weapon and upgrade equipment. Now if only there were more items for my monster.
Well I’d just like to announce that I have already beaten the challenge. Of course one could see Purple Eyes as sort of a loop hole. And a mech heavily armed with a shade robe is kind of useful.
