Stupid or not, thats what they are called in the game. They dont call them anything in the movie, as the movie only has one, at the very end, as a last moment “spook”. And anyway, they dont refer to the Aliens as Aliens, they call them “serpents” for some reason. Maybe cause thats what they resemble on the hyrogliphics…
