Well, Nero (Gaurk; Half-Orc Cleric) and I (Rindel; Vanara Druid) had a Hook the Skull Necromancer Graveyard Game last night, and I must say…it was pretty damn fun.
The first Enemy out was a Ghoul; It died soon enough, and the game continued. The game was mostly uneventful with Gaurk dominating despite his bad roles. As soon as my Wolf KO’d, I knew it was game over.
The Game was now over, and it was time to find out the item’s we won. For the Ghoul, I got a Magical weapon which we randomly rolled up then and there. Turned out to become a +1 Keen Ghost Touch BattleAxe; an Item a Druid would have no use for. All other items turned out to be of little or minor value.
Gaurk voiced his displeasure at the Monkey gaining a fighter weapon, when he truely deserved it. Thus, a Challenge was set. A Battle between a Smelly Orc, and a Monkey, the Winner taking the weapon. Within less than a Minute, Gaurk had taken down both Monkey and Wolf, without suffering any Damage to himself.
The Half-Orc Cleric of Tempus had Won his deserved prize.
Balls to that. Gaurk’s got common sense; he’s not fighting a match where his opponent has, like, every advantage. He can’t fight bare-handed and he knows it, so he wields an axe.
