Lets face it, I’m not a morning man :no2:
I just hate when I can’t sleep. This the short version.
I need sleep, now. My job depends on it
Any tips to avoid those sleepless nights? ><

My advice to you is to start drinking heavily.
Nope. If you find a way that actually works enlighten me.
Water?
Play RO, that’s what I do when I need to sleep.
RO often became a reason to -not- sleep. Video gaming is a bad idea when you’re trying to calm down
Meh, I tried to sleep from midnight till 6 AM and couldn’t, so I played RO for a bit, and was out by 6:30. The trick is to find a map with no challenge at all (but not too easy) and just enough exp so that it’s not basically zero, and it gets so boring so fast you can’t believe you’re still awake.
It’s another sleepless night for me too! Yay! Although it’s because I’ve got another big paper to write. =P
But I also get insomnia a lot. If you’re laying in bed for like hours and not sleeping, you might as well get up and read a relaxing book or watch some relaxing TV or something. Or listen to some music. Some people say warm milk helps, but, warm milk is gross. But some other warm drink might be good (a hot buttered rum would be good for this, if you have access to rum… and hot buttered rum mix, otherwise something like cocoa would do fine).
But the best thing you can do is buy a Serta Mattress. They make the world’s best mattress! They’re so comfortable that you’ll never have to count sheep again!
coughs
Or, if all else fails, do something constructive. No use wasting time.
Read The scarlet letter
Ambien.
I’m surprised a lot of people I “know” have trouble sleeping when I have diagnosed with severe sleep apnea, and I sleep just fine.
Anyway, the best advice I can be is when your lying down with your eyes closed, just let your mind wander. Sooner or later you won’t be just “daydreaming”, you’ll actually be asleep. I also find it helpful to wrap your sheets and blankets around you tightly to get warm quickly, although that may not help everyone.
Go for a late night fog walk, or stop drinking 800 cans of cola a day
Yes, be sure to take note of how much caffeine you consume; if you are drinking a lot of coffee, tea, or soft drinks, you may want to cut back. The other thing which you can do is engage in activities with exhaust you, especially physical exercise; they should prepare you for a good night’s sleep.
I’m often in the same boat, Booken. Sleeping never comes easy for me, and it’s an absolute bitch to wake me up. I’ve rarely gone to bed before midnight since summer.
Read something really, really boring. That’s what I do. Too bad it’s usually my homework.
And throw the cat out.
I was gonna say stop playing RO, but you beat me to it
In other words, sexx0r yourself up, either by yourself or with an actual woman.
well this is how I do it ahem drink about 3 cups of coffee before planned bedtime and smoke about 1/2 bowl of pot 1 1/2 hour before planned bedtime. Or hit yourself really hard when you need to get to sleep. If you take antihistimines ask for hydroxyl and it’ll help so that you don’t wake up until your body is good and ready and it controls your allergies at night, you only take it at night though.
