No actually, Front Page comes with office. As does an override on MS Paint with a GIF licence.
i’ve used a shareware version of LView pro that i got from cnet for transparency and animation and i’ve been pretty pleased with it. it has an unlimited evaluation period as well, so you need not worry about that.
