I’ve noticed a really odd thing on the boards recently, and in order to try and save some people’s reputations before they go out and embarrass themselves in public, I’ve created this handy-dandy little service announcement! Enjoy!
A 75 degree Fahrenheit day is not hot enough to complain about. A 110+ Fahrenheit day with 40%+ humidity is. Anyone caught complaining about anything less than a temperature of 110 and 40% humidity in public will most likely be called a baby and be openly laughed at. As a general rule of thumb, anyone living in Canada has no right to complain. IT’S CANADA for god’s sake! You’re free to complain about the cold or the weird accents, but the heat? Bwahahaha! No. Uh-hum Anyway, Billy, hit that projector!
Squeek Squeek Squeek Whirrrr
(To the tune of “Mary had a little lamb”)
When you go outside today, don’t you say, (Don’t you say!)
“Boy it sure is hot today!” unless you can back it!
If you do say it’s hot, then get caught, (Then get caught!)
Californians will laugh at you, and probably Texas too!
Originally posted by Ren I had to walk for 13 hours under the summer sun of Florida in a daily basis for two weeks some years ago. I can complain too.
What the hell? Were you in military prison or something? And yeah, that’s definate complaint material right there, as long as it’s what you complain about. =P
Yeah, when I was in cross country, we ran in temperature like that. Instead of logically waiting until either the evening when the temperatures or lower or even in the morning when it’s still cool, we always would run in the middle of the day. I guess the absurd heat is supposed to build character or something. All I know is I hated it.

No, I was actually a tourist who doesn’t like staying in the same place for more than one minute.
Other tourists that were with me kept going into coasters and playthings, but I was rather into shopping and sightseeing, so I carried more weight than they did and walked a lot more than most people do while going on tourism.
