Enix was the dominant company in the merger, yes, because they had more money. And I don’t think there’s any conspiracy or anything, of course, because why would one company hold itself back? I simply think that they’re focusing more on the Square side of Square Enix (possibly because of higher international sales).
I finally ran into a contact of mine who can read Japanese. It is indeed a joke. But anyway, it reads “Chrono Trigger: Sands of Time.”

As I said, Square’s holding them down, and I’m basing myself on the American market, not the Japanese market, which I don’t know.
