I voted for 2D cause most of my favourite games are in 2D , but 3D games could be better yet more often than not they just try and ride on the coat tails of their predecessors.
Further to that. 2D sprites can be works of art (Actual hand made drawings , paintings , ect) and therefore me timeless in their own nature. However 3D games get out dating pretty quickly (FFVII – What is that? Is that his hand??
FFIX – Does he have childbearing hips?)
Not to say 3D CAN’T be good… they just AS good… atleast right now.
