2 more fuckin' weeks of this shit.

HELL YEAH! 2 more weeeks and I’ll be on a plane back to Cali. What is even better is that I only have about 7 more days of work. I can see the light at the end of the fucking tunnel. It is also cool that our replacements should be here in a couple of days. This shit is almost over. FUCK YEAH!

I have a question that’s probably better suited for when you return from this adventure but I will ask it now: do you feel you have learned much from being in such an “exotic”(if you want to call it that) land?

Nice to hear that you’re getting back, Infonick. I command you to have fun.

The big question is what are the chances you’ll get redeployed in 6 months?

From what we’ve been told, not very likely. My unit is in the rotation again, but not my company. They are taking elements of my company (just a few select individuals), but my job is not one that they need. The chances out it being within 6 months is slim to none. The earliest that my unit might deploy will be 2008 and I get out then.

What’s your job?

WooHoo!! Yea!! thats cool man congratz!!

Good to hear, Info. :>

Stay safe until then. Then we’ll party.

It is maintenance management. I make sure that the equipment works, but it isn’t a very needed job and the Marine Corps has been working on phasing it out.
