SaGa Frontier: Hmm, I really liked Lute, but Blue and Asellus were really pretty cool too. Overall, I’d have to say Lute.
SaGa Frontier 2: Gustave. He’s one of my favorite RPG characters really.
FFL1: Human Male

FFL3: Arthur.
RS1: Uh…God I wish I knew his name 
He looks like Butz from FF5, but with blonde hair. He’s neato.
RS2: Never played
RS3: Definitely Julian
SFG1: Emilia
SFG2: Eee…um…errr…Wil or Gustave. I’m not sure which one I like better.
The Blonde Lead you can choose that is of course male in Romancing SaGa is named Albert.

Sharon was actually the female human. Gloria was the female mutant if I remember correctly. I played these games way too much =P

Ever notice the recurring theme? The FFL’s let you choose which characters you played with, too. (Well, not FFL3, but Arthur looked like the Human Warriors, so that’s the connection to the FFLs, which are in turn connected to SaGa’s, so there it is.) So did the SaGa’s. See?
It’s more than just that. The leveling system was similar which is the main link really.
I probobly would have noticed that if I had played for than about 10 minutes of FFL1. Aside from that, the only one I’ve played is RS3, which I’ve been meaining to finish.
I would like to try a few more, though.

Right, but also, there was the whole shapeshifting-monsters thing, too. That was also a big link.

SaGa Frontier is my favorite of the frontiers. RS3 is also very good. And I feel FFL2 is the best of the GB SaGas to play. It’s figuratively FFL’s system fixed and improved to be more user friendly.

Man, Gustave was the Orlandu of SF2. He just effortly crushed everything in his path.
