I feel for you Mab. I lost my springer spaniel a couple of years ago. I still think about her almost everyday and occassionally shed a tear. Dogs truly are man’s best friend.
Aww! ;_; hugs Mabat Good thing about allergies is that one doesn’t have to go through things like that.
I’m sorry to hear that Mabat.
But like you said, she was happy until the end (and probably still is happy, whereever she is now). That is something to feel good about right.
I am sorry and I hope that you feel better. I wish that I had more to say, but I cannot begin to know how much she meant to you.
I can relate to what you had felt before that happened. I too can’t comprehend the day my cat will die (she’s 13) as well as my dog (he’s 8). As funny as it may sound, they’re best friends to me. Symbols of my childhood. Im very sorry.
I’m real sorry that happened, Mabat. It hurts really badly to lose an animal, I know. I’ve lost two of them. Both cats.
And now my current cat’s time is going to come soon, since she’s in her double digit age.
Hug? gives Mabat a biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiig hug
I feel your pain, man… I’ve lost quite a few cats in my lifetime… ;_; I still wish my cat hadn’t just up and disappeared like that… I MISS YOU, SHY!!!
Anywho, hope you feel better soon…
Pets, a curse and a blessing all in the same.
I’d say somthing bad about dogs right now, but it’s not right.
Still, cats forever!
That said, sorry about your loss. I do know dogs are very loyal and good friends. I send you my condolences.
That’s the problem about loving someone, you know that one day it will eventually end, but you can’t let that stop you, that’ll just be a waste.
Sorry to hear about her, I hope you manage to find peace in the fact that she’ll always stay in your heart and won’t die till she’s forgotten.
No one dies.
It’s just so you that can’t see them.
I understand your feelings, Mab. Dogs are my favorite pets, too, and I had many thru my life.
My last dog, Gordo, died of a combination of old age and wounds from a car accident, several years ago. I haven’t had a dog ever since.
Actually, Gordo was my best friend’s dog, but we raised it together, and I was the one played the most with it, especially when he got old. And the reason I don’t have a dog now is because I have no room to keep one where I live. Still, I miss it. Trust me, that dog was almost human, his intelligence and personality amazed everyone.
That sucks man. I feel for ya. I’ve had like 5 pets die on me. Two died in my room after they moved in to my room.
I got 2 cats right now that must be as old me. They’re both healthy but I fear for them.
I know how it feels to lose loved pets. My cat Spooky died when I was 13, and my Lab Murphy died when I was 12, and I’ve lived with them since I was born, so their deaths were like double the heartbreak. I feel ya man…
Since I faced the same kind of loss several years ago, I know how it feels. My condolences. Losing that kind of friend isn’t easy.
well first thought thout came to me was that an actual person died and was a dear friend to you…well all the same for dogs anywho …well i cant say much , since reminding you of him would be even more painful, well cheer up , :victoly: your best pal is in a better place right now ,even better than this hell substitute we’re living.
heck, he probably be chewin on the juiciest t-bone steak in all heaven, so cheer up! :victoly:
Way to pick the worst thread to necropost. =(
Ooo, right in the heart. This is a slap to the face, dude.
Yeah, I thought this thread looked a bit familiar…
