I don’t get what the big deal is. FF.net is bound to have suck-ass fanfics, that’s a given and FF8 has several thousand fics up there. Well close to that, I haven’t been there in months so I dunno. I stopped going after the NC-17 fics got taken down. I only read fics that are rated R or NC 17 because I’m just that kind of edgy reader. G and PG are just not my thing. I like disturbing.

There are a ton of good fics up there, but recently they’ve just been totally eclipsed by the slew of highschoolers and badslash and all the other terribel things that mars it. That is why there are so few people on my favs list, that I just can’t be bothered to search much past the first page to find anything anymore, because bad outnumbers good dozens to one.
