Meh, if you feel so strongly about it, threaten to take her to small claims court. Then she will shut up.
If you actually want to go through with it, however, is up to you, but i’m sure she will pay you the missing 50 once you threaten legal action and show that you are serious. She may just think that “Oh, he is my brother, he really just gave it to me as a gift, i don’t need to really pay him back”.
And i don’t know your specific financial situation, 'nick, so don’t get mad at me, but i kind of agree with the others who have posted saying you are overreacting. It is only 50 bucks dude =. But again, i don’t know how you are money-wise right now, so maybe that is alot to you.
I don’t think I’ll take her to small claims court since it would probably cost more to do and take more time than I have. Part of the thing is that I really do need the money for books and stuff. Also, she won’t say that it was a gift, she’ll say that she already payed it back. Although if I did take her to court, I could probably win much easier since I recorded it all in one place. She has it in “various notebooks.” Like I said, I probably mostly needed to vent. I was probably angered by her going psycho on me the day before. It still doesn’t change my attitude towards her.
