Was there some option somewhere in WinXP where I can choose the display language of non-Unicode programs on a “case-by-case” basis (applocale or something)?
I know about the regional settings thing to force a certain character set to display all the time.
(So I get actual Japanese text instead of random garbage)
But at the same time, it’s kinda annoying when I get yen signs instead of / (or was it \ ) in programs that are in English?
