Xenosaga II musical tidbits.....

For those of you who loved the score to Xenosaga, I have a feeling the sequel’s musical score will be drastically different from the first, being that Yasunori Mitsuda(Chrono Trigger, Xenogears, Chrono Cross, etc…) is not coming back to the musical scene. In his stead, a certain Yuki Kajiura(.Hack, Noir, Blood The Last Vampire, etc…) will be taking his place. I’m not too sure what to think of this…

I know a few anime fanatics here will be pleased to learn this… but for those of us not fammiliar with any of Kajiura’s works(Ditto for me -_-), what should we expect from this person ???

Edit : Mitsuda is helping out Yoshitaka Hirota(Shadow Hearts) in Shadow Hearts II !!

<img src=“http://www.rpgclassics.com/staff/tenchimaru/td.gif”> While I have to admit that the .hack OST was excellent, I’m not sure if I’d like to have a Xeno game with this kind of music. If anyone wants a sample, the OSTs are on my f-serv.

Nooooooooooooooooooooo, Mitsudaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!! ;_;

Considering background music was basically absent in the game, I never really heard it much in Xenosaga. So, if they at least play the music, I’ll probably be happy.

The music in Xenosaga was beautiful. When it played. I’m with 984 on this- as long as there’s music playing, I don’t mind, especially since I like Kajiura’s work.
