X-ray vision?!

The reason that article is bull shit is that we see because light hits our retinas and a variety of biochemical reactions occur that lead to a nerve impulse going into our brain. X ray vision would require her eyes to shoot out high energy rays (and expend energy doing it, not to mention maybe her eyes should heat up after continual use) and then her being able to receive some form of feedback and the her biology be able to interpret what she’s saying. In other words, euhm no. The article also shows no support for her claim.
So she doesnt have X-Ray Vision… SHE’S JUST PSYCHIC!!!

Anyway, she got toxic waste in her eyes, that would explain her super power.

or perhaps everything she looks at coincidently is transparent.

and this is old news, my buddy Greg told me about it along time ago.

I’m pretty glad I don’t have x-ray vision, and she should be sad she does. I don’t know about the lot of you, but I would feel very uncomfortable about emitting harmful radiation from my eyes.

It could be ESP though. But I’ll wait with saying X-Ladies until it is confirmed as a truth and more show up.

Her mother Tatiana Vladimirovna added: "I knew she was talented girl as she started to talk when she was only six months old and she learned to read when she was three years old

Uh, isnt that when many start to talk and read? Like Sin said, the intelligence and “ability” would have no relation.

I thought most kids started talking between about 1 and 2 years, and reading around 5 or 6. Why would the alphabet be taught in kindergarden (when most kids are about 5 or 6) if they already know how to read?

Pffft. Mine’s better.

Haha yeah I knew exactly what you were talking about, so I liked the sarcasm.

EDIT: and reading around 5 or 6? No way, that is extremely late. Well, I learned how to read simple words when I was 3, and I assume most other readers knew how to as well. They don’t hint at the specific reading level in the article, so, another reason why it’s bogus.

Learning to read that early is possible. There was a child genius in the early part of this century who learned to read younger than that, and went on in his adolescence to come up with Einstein’s theory of anti-matter, something like 20 years before Einstein did. But he was ridiculed and derided by the media and people of the time and generally wasn’t listened to.
