When I arrived home today I noticed there were another computer on my room. So I like asked dad where he got it from; Turns out one of his work colleauges had upgraded and had nowhere to do with his old computer. So he gave it to me. YAY!
Okay, it’s an ancient P200 MHz but still… I GET A FIREWALL FOR FREE! WOOH! :yipee: :yipee:
I don’t understand why you want to use that machine as a firewall though, it is powerful enough to be used for more resource requiring tasks: Such as that of a server or workstation.
Well, I prefer a hardware firewall; It’s about the same difference a locking the jewel case and locking the front door to protect your jewels. Hardware is much more secure.

It is, but it is still not worth using a machine that can be employed to do more useful tasks.
