I didn’t even know Winamp 4 was out. O_o

In any case, I’m sticking with good old Winamp 2, for the sole purpose of playing SPCs and PSFs, which the newer Winamps don’t have support for.

I also use Winamp 2 still - it works fine for me heh.

There is no Winamp 4. Winamp 5 combines features of 2 and 3 into one thing, 2+3 = 5. Pretty clever. However, 2 does all I need it to do, namely play music, so I see no reason to upgrade.

what’s so special about winamp 3?

It looks pretty and it rapes ram.

i’m not sure what winamp i have i never use it…

I’m gonna stick with 2 until they get a decent amount of user support.

WA5 has plugin support for all WA2 and WA3 plugins

Mostly the appearance, as well as a few features they threw in that didn’t exist on WA2

I’ve had the beta for at least 6 months.

Meh, I’m fine with Winamp 2. I’m not needing anything more from it.

O_o

Ok… explain to me how it goes from WA3 to WA5 with no WA4.::dekar!::

2 + 3 = 5

On a seperate note, 3 sucked, and the latest version of 2 plays video, anything beyond that is really pointless.

Winamp 2.9 forever.
<3 you sig Pierson

I’ll have to try it sometime…

HO CARS WNAPM SUKS

hellohole: Please stop making senseless posts. And that post here is trolling.

It looks nice, but I see no reason to upgrade; Winamp 3 took me a significantly greater amount of time to learn to use, let alone LOAD. Winamp 2 is easy to use, sounds great, and supports Highly Experimental… so I’m going to keep living in the past.

Looks nice, o_0 dear god must have it.

I’ll upgrade because I’ve got nothing better to do.
