The last time I had one before that one was nearly 6 years ago and ever since around the fall of 2004 I have been somewhat depressed, but after the seizure I had a couple of days ago I have been in a better mood than I have in years.
Could anyone tell tell me? I’ve asked about it on Myspace and other message boards as well.
Contrary to popular belief, seizures aren’t the same for all people. When I developed epilepsy in 2004, everybody thought it was because of my video-game playing, that is, that it was the type caused by flashing images. But several tests later disproved that. To this day I still don’t know what triggers my seizures, other than not taking four pills every day. I also have NO recollection of any of them- I just wake up feeling like someone worked me over with a baseball bat. Thankfully they only happen about twice a year these days.
In any case, if you believe the seizure has affected your mood (in any way) you should consult a doctor. Maybe your depression wasn’t psychological but biochemical, and the shock to your system snapped you out of it? Better ask an expert.
Alyx’s B/F has had seizures before…from what I know of them, they have a broad spectrum of side effects. But Wil’s right–you should probably be telling this to a neurologist. I know the internetz is a cheap and quick way to get a response, but most of us aren’t doctors.
Well actually now that I think about it, you may want to talk to your doctor about this. As Wil pointed out, its cause for worry whenever your moods seem to be linked to physical changes.
I am wondering why you didnt ask RPGC first! I’m hurt!
Anyway, you wanted advice, so I’m here to give it. You should probably pay off any debts you might have. Tell your loved ones that you care about them and love them. Make some kind of arrangements to dispose of the body. And try not to come back as a ghost.
You may want to talk to your doctor about this. you should read very good books and Meet the positive thinking person so Your view is automatically change. You are having a just fear nothing more than that.
Electroshock Therapy, they still do this to voluntary patients who know whats going on, or you could try watching Electric Soldier Porygon although that’s most likely very unreliable, then there’s sleep deprivation although I didn’t have one during the time I tried sleep deprivation in the summer of 2005, so if you’re epileptic stop taking your pills for about a month and if you’re not find an ECT clinic. I’ve been hoping for another seizure when I’m laying in bed.
