Yeah, “THAT” guy would be me. It’s bad enough that I don’t post here often, but every since FFXI came out, I’ve pretty much lost all contact to the outside world. I’m on lunch, and the servers are down at the moment, so I figured I’d post something.

<img src=“http://www.rpgclassics.com/staff/tenchimaru/td.gif”> When you become level 30, you can do certain quests to unlock the advanced classes (dragoon, samurai, ninja, dark knight, paladin, beastmaster, summoner.) However, like any class, you start at level 1 in it. So you get to start over if you want to use one of them :smiley:

Then how come is other class was Samurai? He’d have to have one of the basic classes as his first one…

Not necessarily. In other FF’s with job systems, all you had to do was learn the abilities and you could use them.
