Which ff has the best/worst storyline?

i think ff 7

i think seven and eight both have good storylines but i don’t like nine very much but the game itself is good

FF7 has the best, or FF7 has the worst?

I whole heartedly agree!

(But DW1’s is better)

FF4, at least in my opinion has the best storyline.

FF6, IMO. But I actually think FF9 is a very close second.

I’d have to say VI as well.

Final Fantasy Six IS the best, and Final Fantasy Two (J) IS the worst.

FF6 is the best, and and FF9’s isn’t that great.

FF7. FF10, what I’ve played so far, probably comes second (hey, any story with Auron in it HAS to be good! eheheheh  ) Haven’t played much of 6, 8 was…kinda weak in comparison, I guess, and I haven’t played any of 9.

The problem here is that all FF’s storylines are carefully crafted to the extent that you’d have to be really cruel to call any of them “weak”… FF6 and 10 would be tops for me, though, FF7’s was a little confusing in places, and while I love FF8, the whole let’s make Edea (main villain) into a goodie at the start of disc 3 and totally screw the game dynamic up… well, I still haven’t forgiven squaresoft for that one  FF9’s is OK, don’t rate the game as a whole very highly, though, and some appallingly weak characters let it down a bit.

Yeah,

Edea had real potential. She looked real evil and real distant. She should have been a lot more than what she turned out to be. Ultemecia my a**.

But then again, despite that FF8 still has a wonderfull feel to it, something about it screams “I am essentially a wonderfull story”.

Personally I believe FF8 has the worst storyline out of them all.

FF6 has the best.

I mean Christ, the world ends half-way through the game!

It’s a toss up between 6 and 7, but 1 is good also. Don’t ask me, I’m not good when it comes to judging FF games. :stuck_out_tongue:

As for worst, I found FFII’s storyline to be somewhat dull.

FFT has he best! It’s so complex! How can you not like it?

FF9 had the worst storyline. It wasnt fresh, or original, and it was too predictable.Especially the characters. Not new at all.

FF7 probably had the best for me…it was powerful, I guess. That’s all I can say.FF6 might’ve beat this opinion if only it had mroe dialogue/interaction between the characters.

I think I’m going to have to agree with Eva, on this FF7 was very impressive/powerful/amazing, whatever you want to call it!

While FF9, has always been my least favourite Final Fantasy, oh course that may have something to do with the fact that you are constantly gaining/losing charcters, during the first two discs!! But mostly the stroyline did let this game down for me!

Yeah, FFT’s was good too- right behind FF6.

FFVII has the BEST storyline of any game I ever played! I would say why but I don’t know how to do the spoiler thingy…mumble mumble…
