What possible surprise do think will happen, most likely to happen, or do you think that the October surprise won’t happen this election? Maybe you think it will be somehting completely different from the ones listed. So what is your guess?
I’m not sure. Could be anything. I know it will have to be something major in order to break the near tie that Bush and Kerry have.
Bush will be assassinated by a fat man in a bear suit, people will feel sorry and suddenly realize how much they loved Bush- and how amazing he was. There will be parades and statues built in his honour. The US will then be ruled by the iron fist of Republicans for the next decade whilst milking the ‘tragic’ death of one of the worlds most, nay, the most beloved leader of any country in the world, ever.
And then we all go straight to hell, do not pass go, do not collect your welfare check.

Bush is going to call up Osama bin Laden from his private resort home in the south seas and tell him it’s time for him to be “captured” just before the election.
China will announce its aspirations to control the world and annex the USA. *Nod.
Anyway. Most likely nothing at all will happen and the world go on being the hellhole that it is.
Now that October has arrived and the election is just a month away, speculation is rife among Democrats that President Bush and political mastermind Karl Rove have some tricks up their sleeves.
Excluding the vote-tampering, rule-bending and political manhandling that Mr Rove is so famous for of course.
You know, seeing you get all worked up for the elections makes me really glad to live in Argentina where our motto is “Doesn’t matter who we pick, we’ll get screwed anyway”.
It’s always a possibility…no matter how…odd the fear may be. This administration is a little sneaky like that, with hidden info and shit, call it a hunch. I’d be very shocked if the Repubs actually do this…but then again methinks a lot of the American population would too.
Maybe this year’s October surprise will be that GWB did coke with Escobar(the rumour is that both his father and Gipper did, too) and is now trying to promote space explorations in order to get aliens hooked on street drugs in an effort to suck the life out of their economy …now that is a little far fetched…
What I really think the October surprise is gonna be is one of two things

or
Osama Bin Laden Is Captured
I like that.
I doubt a terrorist attack since it would be way to risky. It could force things either way (either Bush isn’t doing that good of a job at fighting the war on terror or we need to give bush more support to fight his ar on terror, particularly if he passes it as terrorists from Iraq). The Cheney one I think is equally risky, but would probably work better.
Everyone will find out Kerry is a nazi kill bot leftover from a WWII german experiment gone wrong. However people still will vote for him due to the fact that he isn’t bush.
I say that the elections are pre-emted by a good old-fashioned fistfight between the presidential candidates, followed by them jumping into their biomechanical suits and continuing to fight in outer space until only one is left.
That winner will take up the reigns of power and move this great nation forward.
That winner will inspire future generations of Americans through his leadership.
That winner…will be Bush, by default, even if there’s nothing left of him but charred remains left over from the mech battle. >.>
How politically astute…
Taking out Cheney would be genius. Especially if he was replaced with Rudolph Guliani (i know i spelled that wrong). He was such a 9/11 hero. Everyone loves him.
It would be wise to remove Cheney. There’s something about that guy that just…creepy, how he appears to be so sneaky and greedy and condescending on free thought.
